- Two days before I am old(er)

Goes to show you should always see the specialist. For a couple of years I show up to different doctors complaining of different problems, everyone asks me, how is your thyroid? Well tests show that my thyroid is in normal range, so docs always just say its normal. Finally my GP noticed a pattern and decided it was time for me to see the endocrinologist. So today I start synthroid. I am at the low end of the normal range, and being a female and with a family history, and showing symptoms... Doc says that I should feel much better once I am on the correct dose. It would be nice if this finally was an answer, I was sick of asking questions.
On Wednesday, I turn 30. It's just a number. I guess when I feel better, it won't be so bad. I hear that it only gets better from here. I sure hope so!

I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back. (Phillipians 3:12-14 The Message)
