- Rest in Peace Mom
- My mother, Candy, passed away this morning. (7-7)She was a wonderful woman, and we will all miss her very much.We all got a chance to say goodbye with a party in her hospital room the night before. She loved it.I had just gone home from a 28 hour stay, showered and fell asleep a bit when it happened. Megan and Becky were there. They told me it was very peaceful as she just stopped breathing. We will be having a memorial service on Tuesday, 7-11 at Hultgren Funeral Home in Wheaton. For more information visit www.hultgrenfh.comWe will also be having a memorial service in Kenosha, Wisconsin later this week. We plan to scatter her ashes in Lake Michigan.Mom was 55 years old. She died from complications of pulmonary fibrosis. To learn more, or if you are interested in donating in memoriam please visit www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org.Her obituary should be in Saturday's Daily Herald as well as Wheaton Sun, Wheaton Leader and Glen Ellyn News. It can also be found on the Hultgren web page where there is an online guest book available.I am at peace, knowing that she is at peace with the Lord in Heaven.
I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back. (Phillipians 3:12-14 The Message)
