I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back. (Phillipians 3:12-14 The Message)

Dear God
Please help me be gracious this Christmas as I receive gifts. I have a problem with greed, and when I get something I really don't want or can't use, I get angry or upset. Help me to not let physical things turn me into a monster. I know where my treasure lies, and it is with you oh Lord.
Help me just to celebrate you, and enjoy visiting family and friends.
Help me to glorify you with my actions, thoughts and heart.
Thank you for your son Jesus. Amen

I hope you n your family have a really good Xmas!
I couldn't care less about gifts. People who know me understand, that I'm only happy when I have the ability to be giving, even to strangers.
When I've had money in the past, I'd be so giving that I'd end up broke, n not care!
It stinks to have what you need when those around you do not!
On the same note, different stanza, my mom always used to give me a sweater. I never wore sweaters! That didn't stop her. So it seemed as though I was getting nothing anyway! The point was, she never gave up hope that I would!
I still have those sweaters somewhere... can't get rid of them... She made me promise! She's been passed on seven years now-
When you see a gift from someone who doesn't get your taste, think of the sweaters n smile!
Thanks God, you rock!
You too Snagg...
